Our systems tend to accumulate useless files with time. As its name implies, this free program deletes all the temporary files from our computer, including Internet files stored by our browsers, as well as those saved by Windows.

The program is really easy to use. You only need to select the drive you want to clean, choose the browsers, whose temporary files you want to delete, and if you want the program to eliminate Window's temp files or not.

The program will create a report detailing all the files it has deleted so you can keep a record of them for future use.
Also, you can set the program to start analyzing automatically at Windows startup. If you don't like the color scheme of the program's interface, you can substitute it with any of the built-in options.

The free version has some limitations. For example, it does not show all the drivers available (in case that you have more than one). Also, it cannot be fully automatized. If you want to take full advantage of the program's features, then you need to purchase a license, which is very affordable (only $1 per computer, with a minimum of 5 computers).

  • Free.
  • Easy to use.
  • Useful.
  • Paid-based version very affordable.

  • Has several limitation when compared with the paid-based version.

What's new in version 4.2

Fixed a a bug causing the /logpath command line argument to analyze instead of clean

Publisher's description

The Temp File Cleaner project started long ago, back in 2004 as a simple batch script. The project quickly evolved to include a long list of directories to clean, and soon was ported to a Java application. This program only has one thing in mind, and that is deleting temporary files. All of them. Fast. Windows likes to hide these in all sorts of places, often with dynamic paths, and does a poor job of cleaning them itself. Some of you may disagree with some of the files that I have deemed temporary, so I've included an advanced options page and commad line switches where you can turn things off and fine-tune your cleansing.

For me, Advanced System Optimizer is the best cleaning and optimization tool. I cleaned lots of junk files and unneeded files from my system as it's getting slower and slower. Its Smart PC Care feature is very helpful, it just took couple of mins to scan my PC and remove junk files from it.
